The last couple of months have seen a change of pace. Perhaps just the effect of Summer. I've been doing less writing and blogging lately, and more reading and studying. Also been doing some work on the house.
In our Tuesday morning Bible study, we are continuing through the book of Hebrews. We're now on chapter 11, the "Hall of Fame of Faith." Taking our time to consider how faith operates, and how faith and patience work together until we see the promises of God fulfilled.
Just received this swell endorsement from Frank DeCenso, author of Amazed by the Power of God and God’s Supernatural Power in You:
By the way, we have recently lowered the price of the paperback edition to $18.99, and Amazon is currenlty offering it for $17.09. A Kindle edition is also available.I have seen and own a large number of books on the manifested power of God through Church history. But I have never seen such a complete collection in one volume as is in Miracles and Manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the History of the Church by Jeff Doles.
If you have a school, teach church history, teach on the power of God, have interest or know someone who does, this is the only book you’ll need on the subject. It is full of quotes from the writings of people from the time of the Gospels until now. It is like a chronological encyclopedia of the Holy Spirit’s working in church history.
We are seeing some good things starting to happen. Hope you are, too. The LORD bless you richly in every way.
